Journal of Adult Education in Tanzania (JAET) is biannual, open-access, peer-reviewed journal, indexed by the African Journal Online (AJOL) which is published by the Institute of Adult Education (IAE) in Tanzania. JAET provides a platform for authors to share knowledge and experiences in form of original research, review papers and case studies in the field of adult and non-formal education.

JAET is hereby inviting submissions of manuscripts for the forthcoming publication - volume 27, issue 1, June 2025.

AUTHOR’S GUIDE

Page Format

Page set-up of the manuscripts should be on A4 or 8.5” x 11 “paper, typed double-spaced (2426 lines per page), with margins of top 25mm, bottom 25mm left 40mm, and right 20mm.

Title

 The title should be followed by author’s full name(s)- centred, author’s affiliation, and the corresponding email address.

Abstract

The abstract should include a maximum of 150 words.

The abstract should be followed with 3-5 key words

Introduction 

Methods

Results & discussion (flexibility is allowed here. Some papers, especially qualitative- based ones flow more scholarly when results are integrated with their respective discussions. Other papers, especially quantitative-based ones will usually require separation of results from discussions) Conclusion 

Recommendations 

Acknowledgment (if any)
